Human Change is Happening Now
Our Story
Launched during the World Economic Forum in Davos in January 2024 by Margarita Louis-Dreyfus, philanthropist and chairperson of the Louis-Dreyfus Group, the Human Change Foundation aims to be the global platform connecting international movements campaigning for holistic development and a better future for children.
We work to break the silos separating different sectors all working towards the same goal – from tech reformers, to educators, to psychologists, lawyers, academics, policy makers, tech futurists and investors.
Through the power of knowledge exchange, education, and collaboration, we are contributing to a system change to safeguard future societies from the harms of over-digitalization and reckless Generative AI deployment.
Our Vision
We envision a world in which children and adolescents can grow up developing their full emotional, social and cognitive potential, not undermined by harmful exposure to digital devices, AI chatbots or educational tools, social media and hyper‑digital environments.
In this world, the development of strong family and inter-generational bonds are cherished in childhood. For many generations, inter-family commitments gave children a strong sense of purpose and enabled them to develop the life skills required for meaningful relationships with peers and, eventually, with life partners – in real life, not behind screens.

To protect children from harmful technological innovations that contribute to the screen-addiction and loneliness epidemic, and to build a more meaningful childhood for generations to come.
How We Work
Human Change Foundation is a global coalition of experts that comprises respected academics, psychologists, pedagogists, sociologists, scientists, tech ethicists, parents, and educators, concerned about the impacts that an overly digitalized society can have on children’s well-being and development.
We actively connect leading thinkers and scientific experts on children’s development and technology reform with decision-makers across business, politics, and philanthropy – to spark collaborations, encourage further research, and galvanize a global cultural shift towards safeguarding children’s humanity.
